Five northeastern provinces are warned of a possible 1.3-metre Mekong rise as Laos’s Nam Theun 1 dam increases its discharge after heavy rain

Nam Theun 1 Power Company Limited, an associate company of EGCO Group, has entered into a financial agreement for US$934.5 million (Bt30.5 billion) with commercial banks in Thailand to fund the development and construction of its Nam Theun 1 hydroelectric power project.
